December 2025 Meeting

Our December meeting landed just before Christmas and blended our AGM with some updates and our now annual festive celebration.

We kicked things off with our Annual General Meeting. It was great to look back on a successful 2025 and elect the committee for the year ahead. A thank you to everyone who voted.

We updated on some of our latest projects. Our FlightRadar24 receiver install is nearly compete, helping Aerospace Bristol museum contribute real-time data to the global aviation community.

We’ve taken delivery of our brand-new club computer. With a great specification of CPU, memory and graphics card, it’ll be ready to handle the most demanding sim work we can throw at it.

One of our talented members has been hard at work coding a custom formation flying plugin. It’s looking incredible and is going to make our group flights more immersive than ever.

After the business was concluded, we headed over to the Concorde hangar for our annual Christmas Buffet. There is nothing like sharing a meal while sitting directly under the tail of Concorde Alpha Foxtrot. The food was top-notch and along with an aviation quiz, good fun!

It was the perfect setting to swap flight sim stories from the past year and toast to many more hours in our virtual skies.

Thanks to everyone who made 2025 such a memorable year for the Bristol Flight Simulation Group!
