Virtual Flying

General Aviation: Flying a general aviation aircraft such as a Cessna or Piper on a flight simulator can be an incredibly rewarding experience. These aircraft are known for their versatility and are used for a variety of purposes. Flight simulators such as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and X-Plane 11 or 12 offer realistic environments for virtual pilots to practice their skills and gain experience. You can fly a variety of different routes and airports, and experience realistic weather conditions. You can practice different types of flying, such as visual flight rules (VFR), which involves navigating by sight, and instrument flight rules (IFR), which involves navigating by instruments. Additionally, you can practice different types of takeoffs and landings, such as short-field and soft-field takeoffs and landings . These activities can help you develop your skills as a pilot and give you a sense of accomplishment.

Airliners: The group flies commercial aircraft such as the Airbus A320, Boeing 737, or Dash-8 Q400 turboprop on flight simulators such as X-Plane 11 or 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D.

We fly a variety of different routes and visit various airports, and experience realistic weather conditions. If we’re looking for a more challenging experience, we try flying in different weather conditions or at night, or practice landing in difficult terrain or complex airspace.
