February 2026 Meeting

It was another fantastic turnout at Aerospace Bristol for our latest monthly meeting. The room was buzzing with aviation and simulation chatter, and it was a pleasure to welcome two potential new members into the group. Keith provided an extensive club update, focusing on the rapidly evolving landscape of our hobby. He covered the current state of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, MSFS 2024, and the latest updates for X-Plane 12.

It wasn’t just talk; the club computer was back in full swing, allowing members to test out the latest software in a high-performance environment. We also had some impressive hardware brought in by members for a bit of “show and tell”.

In the margins of the main meeting, some plans began to take shape for our continuing partnership with the museum. We discussed how the group could support Aerospace Bristol during the Easter period, using the club computer to engage visitors with the magic of flight. Work is finishing on refurbishing the old club computer to serve as a dedicated Eurofighter simulator. This will eventually sit alongside the museum’s own Eurofighter exhibit, giving the public a hands-on experience of this legendary aircraft.
