October 2023 Meeting

At the October meeting more discussions were held on what sessions we would like to have next year.

Here is a summary of the October meeting:

  • The meeting discussed the Christmas raffle and screenshot contest.
  • A new meeting format was proposed, which includes arriving at 10:00am and starting the meeting at 10:30am each Sunday.
  • The meeting will begin with Parish Notices and Flight Simulation News and Reviews, followed by Upcoming GA or Airline flights (if details available), and a seminar/activity as per the published program.
  • A multiplayer server will be set up and run each month during the Sunday session to promote flying together.
  • The group voted on ideas for Sunday seminars, including Navigation and Flight Planning, Avionics, Flying Concorde, Best Freeware, General Aviation Fly-in, Flight Sim Hardware & Interfacing, Scenic Tour(s), Virtual Reality (VR) Flying, Flying the Space Shuttle, VFR Flight, Flight Simming on your Tablet, Updating the BFSG Wiki, Online Flying, Planning an Aviation Museum Visit, Air Accidents, Formation Flying, Creating a BFSG Trailer, and Members Choice.
