May 2024 Meeting

We had another good turn out with a good selection of computer hardware being brought along by members, covering Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane. The two BFSG club computers were put to good use too.

Along with the usual virtual flying and sharing of experiences, the monthly meeting discussed our upcoming BFSG Open Day on 23rd June 2024. The group has some great demos planned and look forward to many visitors getting to see the fun that can be had, along with the educational benefits of flight simming.

The macro keyboards were bought along and distributed to those members who’d puchased one. These little keyboards can be programmed for particular key presses, triggering actions or events in flight simulators, without having to use a keyboard. The dial can also be configured to change gauges in aircraft virtual cockpits.
